Caliguiri, Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh. Mayor Caliguiri thanked everyone for the warm reception he received from the delegates. He stated he was very proud of his heritage for his grandmother was from Hungary. Mayor Caliguiri stated we must remain strong and as long as the people remain strong, we need not fear our adversaries. We have not lost our heritage and we must continue to retain our heritage no matter what our nationality may be. It is not an easy thing to maintain this heritage, but it is through such an organization as the William Penn Association and its fraternal policies that will help to retain our heritage. He is proud and happy that William Penn Association is domiciled in Pittsburgh. The city is progressing tremendously in its development and he is happy that William Penn Association has a part in its development. He bid everyone a warm welcome to Pittsburgh and hoped everyone will enjoy their stay in the city. 1 1) The Convention Chairman stated that the Agenda has been prepared. He requested that an addition be made to the Agenda, Point 13 and add 13A — Board Resolutions. It was moved, seconded and the delegates adopted the Agenda with the proviso that any matter properly belonging before this Convention may be added thereto by presenting the subject in writing to the Chairman of the Convention.
