Ordination and Installation Ceremony Celebrated in Homestead, Pennsylvania Standing —Mrs. John S. Toth and Mr. John S. Toth, Sr. Seated —Mrs. Elmer Charles, Pres. Elmer Charles, Rev. Dr. Eva Fabian, Rev. Imre Bertalan and Mrs. Bertalan. On June 20, 1 982, National Presi­dent Elmer Charles participated in the service of the Ordination and In­stallation of Rev. Sándor A. Kovács, Minister of The First Hungarian Reformed Church of Homestead. After the service, a Dinner-Dance was held at the Duquesne Golf Association in West Mifflin. Rev. Sándor A. Kovács was born in 1952 in Budapest, Hungary. He came to the United States in 1956 after the Hungarian Revolution, and was raised in Southern California where he lived until 1979 when he moved to New Haven, Conn. He married Agnes Ilona Loerincze in 1976. They have three children, Angela 4, Sándor 3, and David 1. Rev. Kovács served the Lord in various capacities since his gradua­tion from high school. He served as camp counselor at Quaker Meadows Camp and the Hungarian Reformed Church Youth Camp, as Youth Pastor and Director of Christian Education at the Hungarian Re­formed Church in Bridgeport, Conn. He also served at quite a few churches in the California area. Rev. Kovács graduated from West Covina High School in 1970; com­pleted his Bachelor of Arts degree at Azusa Pacific University in 1 975; at­tended School of Theology at Clare­mont for two years and received his Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School in May, 1982. Imre Bertalan, Pres, of the Hungarian Reformed Federation. A large representation of the Home Office Family was present at this event. Rev. Kovács and his fam­ily are all members of the William Penn Association thru the efforts of our Branch Manager, Elmer Toth of Branch 89, Homestead, Pa. PAT AMATO Patricia Amato, a member of Branch 14 graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo as a Doctor. She will join her sister, Dr. Maryellen in St. Louis, Missouri, to do her Internship in Pediatrics. Her mother, Betty Cherney Amato was formerly from Sagamore, Pa., when her father, Stephen, was a delegate for the Verhovay, and enrolled them all as members. We wish Pat a lot of luck in her future work. 3
