Santa and Branch children. Entertainment was provided by “Rita and her Friends” who acted out “Charlie Brown” routines. They then lead the audience in the singing of Christmas carols from the song books provided by the Home Office. As the children sang “Jingle Bells” they were greeted by the coming of Santa (Bob Segal) Claus, ringing his bell and saying jovial ho-ho-ho’s. Watching the little children telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas was very heart warming. Observing their sincerity in him, how could anyone not still believe in Santa??? He then gave gifts to all the children present. Branch Manager Ernie Mozer then invited everyone present to remain for refreshments. All the Officers of Branch 51 want to wish you and yours a Happy and Healthy New Year. Fraternally yours, Ernest Mozer Branch Manager Branch 59 Scalp Level, Pa. Branch 59, Scalp Level, Pa. held their annual meeting for election of officers on Dec. 13, 1981 at 1 P.M. Joseph Totsky remained as President; John Gardy and John Horwath remained as Auditors. Mary Miller was elected Secretary-Treasurer. The Children’s Christmas Party was held from 2 to 4 P.M. We had a nice group attending this year. The children enjoyed their yuletide gifts and were very happy with the contents. The Home Office was very generous with their donation. Sandwiches and soft drinks were enjoyed by everyone. We had door prizes for every child. The song books furnished by the Home Office were handed out to everyone. We consider this to be one of our best Christmas parties. Congratulations to Mr. Gus Nagy for his appointment for National Secretary-T reasurer. Best wishes for a healthy, Happy New Year to all. Fraternally yours, Mary Miller Branch 76 Philadelphia, Pa. We are happy to report our 24th Annual dinner Dance, held Saturday, Nov. 7th, was a success in all respects, a nice turnout, good food and entertainment. A lot of water has gone over the dam since the time in 1958 when we decided to celebrate our Branch’s 50th Anniversary. Thanks are due to our friends from the nearby Branches, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Radvany, Trenton, N.J., Mr. and Mrs. Zoltán Emri, Br. Pres. Bela Emri and guests from Roebling, N.J., Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hrabar, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Mészáros from Perth Amboy, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hegedűs and guests from New Brunswick, N.J. National Director Steve Lang, Jr. from Bethlehem, Pa. sent his best wishes along with a contribution. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schmidt, our old friends from Delaware and Katherine Kanya from our Branch also helped our cause financially, even though they could not attend. With the support we receive from such dedicated friends, it gives us an incentive to continue, especially since our Branch is the only one left in the area to sponsor such an affair. At our recent meeting, we elected Officers for the coming year: President, Joseph Karoly; Vice President, Helen Molnár; Treasurer, Elsie Szemes; Recording and Corresponding Secretary, Steve Szemes; Auditors, Annabel Karoly and Helen Schenkel. We are sorry to report the sudden passing of two well known, long time members, Mrs. Mary Gondy nee Mikula and Frank Bacher. Our most sincere sympathy to the Gondy, Mikula and Bacher families. We ask our members and friends, for your in-14
