All the Officers assisted in making the party a success. The election of Officers for the year 1982 was held on Monday, December 7th, 1981 at the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church Hall. All in­cumbents were again re-elected. Presi­dent, Joseph Arvay; Vice President, Elizabeth Gyorgydeak; Treasurer, Irene Evans; Sectretary, Barbara Hegedűs; Auditors, Alex Horvath, Ruth Vasvary and Anthony Vass. Michael Hegedűs, National Director conducted the installation after which refreshments were served. Wishing everyone a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year! From all of us here at Branch 19. Barbara Hegedűs Branch 22 Roebling, N.J. On Friday evening, December 18th, Branch 22 held their annual Christmas party for their juvenile members. We were entertained by Mr. Russell, who performed magic, and by his partner, Missy, who was a ventriloquist. Refreshments were served and each child received a gift from Santa. Prior to our party, elections for our Branch Officers were held and the results are as follows: President, Bela Emri; Vice President, John Suth; Secretary, Barbara Emri; Treasurer, Zoltán Emri; Auditors, George Bucs and Andrew Gabor. From all of us here at Branch 22, we wish you all a most joyous and pros­perous 1982. Respectfully submitted, Barbara Emri Branch 24 Chicago, Illinois Branch 24 held its election of Of­ficers Sunday, November 13, 1981, at the Ivanhoe Park Field House, 144th & Stewart in Riverdale. The following members were elected Officers for 1982: Charles Akai, President; Paul Novak, Vice President; Bert Garszik, Recording Secretary; Betty Hartly, Treasurer; Betty Akai, Corresponding Secretary and Reporter; Mary Bertok, Auditor. After the meeting, a delicious dinner was served. Just a reminder to all our fellow members. We hold our meetings every second Sunday of the month, 2:30 P.M. at the Ivanhoe Park Field House, 144th & Stewart, in Riverdale, Illinois. Branch 24 Christmas Party. bunco are played, refreshments are served. Please join us. I am happy to report our Christmas Party was a great success. The hall was filled with grown-ups and children. Our President Charles Akai wel­comed the children, parents, grand­parents, and friends. He assured all present an enjoyable afternoon. Our program was short, but nice. The children played several games. Later, the grown-ups joined the children singing carols, accompanied by Mrs. Kay Doychak playing the piano. Good old Santa arrived with gifts and goodies for everyone. A delicious chicken dinner was served, enjoyed by everyone. The Officers and members of Branch 24 are very grateful to the Home Office for its generous contribu­tion in helping make our party a huge success. Our President Charles Akai, did a good job as good old Santa. The Officers and members of Branch 24 wish all the members of the Home Office and the readers of the Penn News a blessed Holiday Season and a very happy, healthy, prosperous New Year. We extend our most sincere sympathy to her hus­band, Leslie Wash. Anna was all things —fraternalism, good fellowship, car­ing—a true picture of our association. We will miss her smiling face at the bowling banquets, the monthly branch meetings, the Christmas parties. We will remember her in our prayers as 12
