CLIFFORD ALEXANDER LEHÓ EDWARDS received a Master of Com­puter Science degree with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the Univer­sity of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia on August 14, 1982. Alex received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Math with a minor in Physical Science and Computer Science from Clinch Valley College, a branch of the University of Virginia in May 1980. He is the son of Ruby Lehó Edwards and the late Clifford Cecil Edwards. His grandfather, Mr. Lehó, while living in Kentucky, was very active in recruiting members for Szövetség and Rákóczi un­til it merged with the William Penn. Alex is now a member of Branch 71. We congratulate Alex in his fine achievements and wish him luck in his future endeavors. Think you’ll lose? You will! A can’t thought always fails. Members of Branch 226 will hold their annual Christmas Party on Sun­day, December 19, 1982, at St. Stephen’s Hall on Beacon Street in McKeesport, Pa. at 2:30. All family members, young and old, are invited to share with us the Christmas spirit. Branch 248 Monaville, West Virginia We are sorry to announce the pass­ing of Andrew Wagner on August 16, 1982 in Dehue, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Gyöngyösi Wagner, 2 daughters and 4 sons. Mr. Wagner was a retired coal miner from Youngstown Mining Com­pany and President of Branch 248. May he rest in peace. Branch 249 Dayton, Ohio Our Vice President in charge of Fraternal Affairs, Steve Horvath, has gotten our current bowling season off to a flying start, in anticipation of at­tending the 1983 National Bowling Tournament in Detroit, with several local teams. All those interested in joining the league or being available as substitute bowlers are invited to call Steve at 434-3249. Congratulations are in order to our newest local recipient of a William Penn Scholarship Grant, Kellie A. Kaskocsak. Kellie is enrolled at the University of Dayton and we wish her much success in her chosen profession. The Kaskocsak family is a 100% William Penn family consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Val Kaskocsak and four children, who are life long members, Kevin J., Kellie A., Kristopher J. and Kenneth J. Kellie A. Kaskocsak and Director Albert G. Kertesz. Many people have contacted me regarding a William Penn trip to Hungary during 1983. At this time I can only say that plans are not yet definite. If there will be a tour, infor­mation will be published in the Penn Life and I will work with people in this area to finalize their plans. Albert G.
