Miss Mary Ann Breckenridge became the bride of Mr. Michael John Petruska on Saturday, November 29, 1980 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Wilmington, Del. The Rev. Gordon Stapleton, pastor, performed the noontime single-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Breckenridge of “Breck­­noll” in Landerberg, Chester County. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Petruska of 961 East Ave., Johnstown, Pa. Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Mark S. McNew of Houston, Texas, as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Sarah and Helen Breckenridge of Columbia, S.C., cousins of the bride, and Mary and Jenny Petruska, sisters of the bride­groom of Johnstown, Pa. William Tomako of Johnstown, Pa. was the best man. The ushers were John Breckenridge of Hadley, Mass., brother of the bride, James Freeman of Salemburg, N.C., cousin of the bride, Tom Paridiso of Alexandria, Va. and William McConnell of Avondale, Chester County. Mrs. Baker was the organist. Mrs. Booth was the vocalist. Immediately following the ceremony a luncheon and reception was held at the DuPont Country Club, Wilming­ton. The bride is a 1976 graduate of Ken­­nett High School and a 1980 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University in the field of horticulture. She is cur­rently employed as a horticulturist by Holiday Gardens in Toughkenamon, Chester County. Thg bridegroom is a 1975 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School and a 1979 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science. He received a master’s degree in 1980 from the Pennsylvania State University in public administration. He is cur­rently employed as a program analyst for the Federal Environmental Protec­tion Agency in Washington, D.C. After a wedding trip to Williamburg, Va., the couple will reside in Alexan­dria, Va. * * * The William Penn Association Branch 8, located in Johnstown, Pa. since 1889, held its election of branch officers on Sunday, Dec. 14, 1980. The meeting was held in the newly reno­vated Social Hall of the Hungarian Ev. & Reform Church, corner 9th and Chestnut St. in the Cambria City sec­tions of Johnstown, Pa. Re-elected as Branch 8 President for 1981 was Vera Petruska, of 961 East Ave.; Willard Maurer, Vice President; Mary Schrengost, Recording Secre­tary; Steve Petruska, Treasurer; and Ida Sipos and Elizabeth Maurer as Auditors. Branch 8 meetings are held every 2nd Sunday at the Social Hall of the Hungarian Ev. & Reform Church, corner of 9th and Chestnut St., Johns­town, Pa. All Branch 8 members are welcome. After the meeting, Branch 8 held its Annual Children’s Christmas Party. All the children, wide-eyed and excited and their parents were pleased when Santa and his helpers passed out gifts, candy, hot dogs and soft drinks to all. The Officers of Branch 8 wish to thank the Board of Directors for their generous allocation toward the Children’s Christmas Party. We try to show these lovely children that the William Penn Association really believes in their future. Branch 8 ex­tends to all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year. Personal prosperity comes from savings and in­vestment. We Americans do more saving and investing than any other people on earth. And, because of our huge stock of tools resulting from in­vestment, we do less work than any other people on earth. Let’s keep it that way! Branch 13, Trenton, N.J. held the annual election of officers in conjunc­tion with the Family Christmas Party on December 7, 1980. Director, Frank J. Radvany, had the distinct honor r f presenting the 50 year William Penn Association pin to his mother-in-law, Mrs. Andrew Kerekes, who is the mother of Branch 13, Manager, Elsie H. Radvany, during the meeting. Mrs. Kerekes, who is 82 years old, was very happy to receive the >in and was most grateful to the William Penn Associa­tion. Branch 1 3 Trenton, IM.J. Mrs. Andrew Kerekes receiving her 50 year pin from Director Frank J. Radvany. During the year, Branch 13, had two other 50 year members, namely, Mr. Frank Vágott and Mr. Andrew Vágott. Congratulations to these faithful members. After the meeting, the election of of­ficers for the year 1981 commenced. The following were once again unanimously elected: President, Frank J. Radvany; Vice-President, Joseph Branch 13 Officers for 1981—Joseph Hamari, Vice President: Frank J. Radvany, President: Anthony Beke, Treasurer; Betty Kennedy, Controller; Elsie H.
