Surprise Gift for Stephen Danko President, Detroit Branch 18 Steve P. Danko, Albert J. Stelkovics, Andrew Toth, Julius Macker and Stephen Danko. Stephen Danko of Southgate, president of the William Penn Association, Branch 1 8, was awarded a color portrait of himself for display at the headquarters of the association in Lincoln Park. Making the surprise presentation were Danko's nephew, Steven P. Danko and Andrew Toth, vice presidents. The honoree is a national director and national executive committee member. The presentation ceremony took place April 25, during a dinner dance marking the fifth anniversary of the Hungarian Club. Among the guests were Albert Stelkovics of Pittsburgh, retired na­tional secretary and current director and his wife; Julius Macker, past president and a former director of the national William Penn Associa­tion; Bishop Dezső Abraham of the Rev. Joseph Szirmai, First Hungarian Reformed Church, Detroit; Frank Lada, Mayor City of Allen Park; Charles Paddock, Mayor City of Lincoln Park; Stephen Danko, President of Branch 18; Councilman Robert Hunt, City of Lincoln Park; Bishop Dezső Abraham, Hungarian Reformed Church, Allen Park. (Continued from Page 15) member of the basketball team for 3 years and have participated in various intramurals. Another area that keeps me busy is my job as Resident Assist­ant. In this job, I have the responsibili­ty of looking after the dormitory and maintaining the well being of a hallway of students. My hobbies include bowling, tennis and golf. In the summer I have been employed by Wheaton Van Lines, Inc. and have played in various summer basketball leagues. My future goals are to finish here at Susquehanna and to get a job with an accounting firm and obtain my C.P.A.
