Mrs. Ethel Katona, Branch Secretary, who fractured her hip in a fall in February is happy to be back in the office and resuming her duties after a m month absence. She is still recuperating from her accident. Miss Judy Bero filled in for Mrs. Katona during this period. Branch 1 wishes to extend their thanks and appreciation to Miss Bero for her assistance. Branch 1 3 Trenton, N.J. Congratulations to Branch 249, Dayton, Ohio for the wonderful bowling tournament and fellowship days. The bowling tournament administrators, Director Albert Kertesz, and the committee members are to be commended for a job well done. The banquet and entertainment were superb and the orchestra kept everyone on the dance floor till after midnight. Many thanks to National Auditor, Louis Fodor, who took pictures at the dinner-dance. He certainly displays true fraternalism with his photography, which, by the way, is excellent. Branch 13, Mens Team came in 4th place for team events at the bowling tournament. They deserve praise and congratulations. Hopefully, next year, the Ladies Team will be participating. Once again, this year, Branch 13, was one of eight organizations of the Hungarian-American Community taking part in the 2nd Annual Trenton Heritage Days Festival on June 7 and 8.
