Respectfully submitted, Irene Esau Branch 705 Milwaukee, Wisconsin It was once again a pleasure for Gladys and myself to represent the William Penn Association at the 1979 Mid-Year Joint Meeting of the Wisconsin Fraternal Congress and the Wisconsin Chapter, Fraternal Insurance Counselors. The meeting was held promptly at 10 A.M. in the Churchill Room of the new Mead Inn, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. The roll call showed there to be 120 Home Office representatives and 38 F1C members. After several questions, it was decided the increased attendance was a result of holding the meeting further out in the State and future plans will include this thinking. Several interesting speakers were present, including the Honorable, James Paul Kubisiak, Mayor, Wisconsin Rapids. A total of 13 Award of Merit citations were presented to Society members. Fraternally yours, John J. Lippert Branch Manager ^JerSe Weráe That Washington never told a lie, of course is very true. But he went into politics When the country was quite new'. 21 ’
