Award Presentation Mr. Stephen T. Szilagyi-Vice President of Marketing and President of Fraternal Societies of Greater Pittsburgh is presenting the Hon. Leonard C. Staisey with the Humanitarian Award of the Year during a banquet held recently in Pittsburgh. At the time presentation was being made Mr. Staisey was a candidate for Judge, Court of Common Pleas, Allegheny County. We are pleased that Mr. Staisey, a Member of the William Penn Association won nomination on both the Democrat and Republican primaries and therefore is assured of election to judgeship in November. We congratulate Mr. Staisey on his achievements and are proud to have him as a William Penn member. the William Penn Association, American Hungarian Civic Associa­tion, American Hungarian Democratic Citizens Club, American Hungarian Federation, and the Hungarian Reformed Church that participated in the tri-centennial observance. Arthur Sypek, Mercer County Executive; Governor of N. J., Brendan Byrne; and Mayor of Trenton, Arthur Holland. The Hungarian organizations were under the “Big Top” in the Mill Hill Park area. An exhibit of the history of Hungary was displayed along with the many porcelains, arts, and beautiful handmade embroideries. William Penn Association, Branch 13, Trenton, N.J. was represented by Director Frank J. Radvany, with his wife, Elsie, who is Branch 13 manager. Brochures on the insurance plans of­fered by the William Penn Association were distributed. Mrs. Radvany also sold the William Penn Association cook books “Treasured Hungarian Recipes” the proceeds of which are contributed to the William Penn Scholarship Foundation. Elsie Radvany Secretary, Branch 13 Branch 14 Cleveland, Ohio “Good Times and Fellowship” are in store for the Cleveland and neighboring branches this summer, ac­cording to Branch 14 Delegate Robert Stypa. William Penn’s Branch 14 is plan­ning a family picnic/dance for Sunday, August 12, 1979. Open to the general public, the pic­nic sight is St. Joseph’s Grove on White Road in Willoughby Hills and festivities are slated to begin at 8:00 A.M. Admission for the event will be $ 1.50 for adults. Sixteen and under will be admitted free. Food and refreshments will be sold at the picnic site. Organized games and activities will occupy the kiddies during the day and the adults can kick up their heels at the dance that will follow.
