After many years of negotiations, the merger of these two Hungarian Fraternal Benefit Societies became a reality on Tuesday, April 10. 1979. Details of the merger will be provided to each American Life member. As National President of the William Penn Association and on behalf of my fellow Officers and Board of Directors, I wish to assure each American Life member that there will be no change in the amount of your Life Insurance Certificate, nor will there be any increase in your premium. You will retain your present membership certificate. With this merger we have successfully taken one more giant step towards bringing all Hungarian Fraternal Societies under one roof, so that in united effort we can continue to foster our highly valued Magyar heritage and culture here in the United States of America.
