Fraternalism Is A Family Affair The National Fraternal Congress of America, which represents over one hundred fraternal benefit societies in the United States has had as its theme for two years now: “FRATERNALISM IS A FAMILY AFFAIR”. The fraternal benefit societies are perhaps the most logical group in the country to help straighten out some of the many misunderstandings in this country because of the lack of communication. In the family where there is good communication between parents and children, between parents themselves and between siblings, there is an exemplary family life and there is much happiness. If this good aspect of life could be instilled into more families through fraternal activities, it should be done. The William Penn Association is a member of the National Fraternal Congress of America and our National President serves on its Executive Board. The William Penn Board of Directors has agreed to support all national movements of the Congress’ Family Life program. We urge all of our Branch Officers and their members to cooperate and assist whenever called upon to do so. Let us see if we can’t, with united fraternal effort, steer the course of this topsy-turvy world into the right direction. * # Opportunity is often disguised as hard work.Rita Waskiewicz, Elmer Charles, Joli Gabor, Elizabeth R.
