We are immensely proud to announce to the William Penn membership that our National President was elected to the Executive Board of the National Fraternal Congress of America. This high honor is not accorded to many fra­­ternaiists, because only three are elected each year to assume this responsible position. In selecting Mr. Charles, the National Fraternal Congress of America will have a forceful and dynamic frater­­nalist on their Board, and we feel cer­tain that he will bring valuable experi­ence to that Board in its deliberations. In honoring Mr. Charles the Conven­tion also honored the William Penn Association, thereby recognizing that this Association has contributed immeas­urably to the progress of the fraternal benefit system in America.
