Rev. Vince Bann gave the blessing. Receiving the relatives with his parents was Frank Molnár, Jr. and his Wife Blanche and the Grand-children at the son’s home. Mr. Molnár and the former Mary Tomko were married in St. Stephen’s Hungarian Roman Catholic Church by the late Rev. Alexander Varlaky. Mr. Molnár is an Illustrious Member having received this citation for 25 years as Officer, in September 1965. He was Branch Manager, then President and Secretary of the former Branch 514 Verhovay which he organized and is now part of Branch 28 of Youngstown, Ohio. Mr. Molnár was a foreman at open hearth, U.S. Steel and retired in 1963 after 30 years of service. We congratulate the Molnars on this 50th anniversary celebration. We also have sad news. The Branch Officers and Members wish to extend their deepest Sympathy, to President John Bunchy, on the death of his wife Margaret. She was bom Auguest 25, 1913 in W. Va., she died July 31, 1975. She leaves her father 14 Mr. & Mrs. Frank Molnár Sr. Michael Komaromi and two daughters Margaret and Sheryl. She was a well known singer on the Hungarian Radio program for many years. She also sang with her husband’s orchestra, which was the Bunchy Orchestra, for 20 years. Her many good friends will long remember and miss her. God rest Her in Peace! Our Branch meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the Calvin Center located on Mahoning Avenue. We are still hoping for a larger turnout for our meetings. At the regular monthly meeting held on September 15, 1975 our two representatives gave an excellent report to the membership of the happenings and results of the the election at the recently held 28th General Convention. Branch President Ernest Mozer thanked Mr. Arthur Barillo and Mr. Frank Zimmermann for their devotion to duty on behalf of Branch 51. The Officers and members of Branch 51 offer their congratulations to all those elected to office and hope they will devote their time and efforts to the continued growth of the William Penn Association and remind us of our Hungarian Heritage. As this will be the last issue of the William Penn Life for this year the membership should keep the following dates in mind. On December 7, 1975 our election of officers will be held for Branch 51. The election will be held at the President Palace Hall, 115 President St., Passaic, N.J. at 2 P.M. It is very important that a good turn out of members show up for this very important meeting. The other important date to keep in mind is December 14, 1975. Our Annual Christmas Party for the Juvenile Members of our Branch will be held that day. Parents ane also cordially invited to attend with their children, entertainment and refreshments will be served. A visit from Santa is assured along with a gift for the children. Please mark these very important dates on your calendar now. Everyone’s presence is vitally needed. This affair will start at 2 P.M. also at the President Palace Hall, 115 President St., Passaic, N.J. Your Presence at our Monthly meetings are very important to the officers of the branch in order to guide us. So please remember we meet every third Monday at 7 P.M. sharp, at the President Palace Hall. An enjoyable and a very Fraternal evening is assured. With the end of summer and the coming of autumn, we all turn to other forms of activities, such as bowling and planning functions for the coming season ahead. At Branch 76 we are preparing for our 18th Annual Dinner Dance to be held Saturday evening, November 15, 1975. It will take place at the United German Hungarian Club’s modern facilities, Spruce Ave., and Bristol Rd., Oakford, Pa. The Dinner will be served at 7 P.M. We will have a full course Chicken Dinner. Everything from soup to nuts. Preparation by the Club Ladies, who are well known for their culinary skills. Music for your dancing and listening pleasure will be furnished by the popular Musical Caravan Orhestra from 9 P.M. to 1 A.M. We are asking our members and friends to support this worthy affair, as the proceeds are donated to the William Penn Scholarship Foundation. We deeply regret to report the passing of two of our long time members, Mrs. Mary Jasche and Nándor Mullner. Our sincere sympathy to the bereaved families. Miss Nemeth is the granddaughter of Mrs. Julius Shulok also a member of Branch 189.
