The annual William Penn Scholarship Foundation meeting was held on Saturday, May 24, 1975, in the Chicago Marriott Motor Inn. At this time, Director Frank J. Radvany presented a check for $100.0 0 on behalf of Branch 13 to the Foundation. Our Branch was the first to initiate annual donations. Since then, many branches are instrumental in supporting this great Foundation. We can reminisce joyfully over our 32nd National Bowling Tournament. Branch 13 Women’s Bowling Team captured a number of prizes. Their team won 4th place in competition. Marguerite Beke captured first place in women’s singles. Margie Hamari and Marguerite Beke captured 2nd in the women’s doubles, and Marguerite Beke placed 3rd in the all events for women. Our sincere congratulations to them all. Branch 13 is diligently working on out annual dinner-dance which will be held in the Grand Ballroom, Beatty and Grand Streets, Trenton, N.J. on November 1, 1975.
