VOLUME 7 APRIL, 1972 NUMBER 2 29th National Bowling Tournament & Fellowship Days MEMBERSHIP CAMPAIGN In conjunction with the National Bowling Tournament and Fellowship Days, the Board of Directors have authorized a special membership campaign. The purpose of this campaign is two-fold. First, to increase the juvenile membership. The scholarship grants have been instituted to help our deserving young members. The Association now must have a large juvenile memberhip so that the scholarship program can continue to grow and help more and more members. Secondly, it is the desire of the Board to afford each member, bowler and branch officer an opportunity to obtain banquet tickets free of charge. Rules and regulations pertaining to the membership campaign can be found in Point 27 of the Excerpts of the March Board Meeting Minutes appearing on page 13 in this issue. All those who have registered as bowlers for the Philadelphia Tournament have already received the rules, brochures and application forms. Any member, or branch officer who will attend the banquet and desires to avail himself of the offer to earn free banquet tickets, should request forms from the Home Office so that the necessary application for the Student Protector Plan be completed. This program is a good opportunity for parents to enroll their children into the Association with an excellent life insurance program or for grandparents who wish to provide their grandchildren with a real valuable Estate. The plan is Association’s Student Protector Plan $10,000.00 minimum at an annual premium of $45.00, including waiver of premium and guaranteed purchase option. Premiums and coverage remain constant to the insured’s 25th birthday. The $10,000.00 term insurance at age 25 then becomes $10,000.00 life paid-up at age 65 for an annual premium of $175.00. Males and females from 0 age through age 24*4 years are eligible to apply. This is the first membership campaign sponsored in several years. We urge all bowlers in particular to make this a successful campaign.
