Excerpts from Minutes of Board of Directors Meeting earn his Master’s degree in Speech. He became a full-time instructor and coached the debate team. He still found time to meet and marry Peggy Anderson of Washington, D. C. His father officiated at the cremony in the Bethlehem Chapel of the Washington Cathedral. And still, Peter found time to assist his father by preaching in the six churches of his father’s Methodist charge. He spoke in many churches of the Pittsburgh area. Those who heard him recall that he was a remarkable young man with a captivating style and crystal clear Christian message. His funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Dr. Melvin Risinger and the Rev. Dr. Kalman Toth of Lorain, Ohio, who once baptized him. In the church over 500 people sang one of his favorite hymns, the hymn he sang at his last field service, My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus’ name. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand. The Borsay Family and Friends have established a Memorial Fund in his name at West Virginia University. All donations to this fund will be matched by nine times the amount donated thus a donation will be worth ten times the amount for some deserving student in the Speech Dep’t of WVU. Peter S. Borsay Memorial Fund, 337 Dorsey Ave., Morgantown, W. Va. 26505. Lt. Chester A. Molley, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Molley, Morristown, Tenn., was killed in Action in Vietnam, April 23, 1969. Lt. Molley was graduated from Lynch (Ky.) High School and moved with his family to Tennessee. He was a member of Branch 310, Lynch, Ky. He was graduated from University of Tennessee, June 9, 1968, was commissioned 2nd Lt. in the Marine Corps. Upon graduation he went to Quantico, Virginia to finish his training—graduating November 13th, 1969. He left for Vietnam December 18th, 1968. He was married to the former Cheryl Huxley of Morristown and they have a 17 month old daughter, Melissa. The University of Tennessee has established a Memorial Scholarship in the school of journalism in his memory. Funeral services were conducted at St. Patrick’s Church of Morristown. Burial was in Hamblen Memorial Gardens, Morristown. Members of the Marine Corps conducted the military funeral. In addition to his wife Cheryl, he is survived by a daughter Melissa, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Molley; brothers John of Kingsport, Tenn., James of Erlanger, Ky.; sister Mary Excerpts from Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Directors held Monday, June 16—18, 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pa. 1. The Board of Directors meeting was opened by National President, Elmer Charles, with greetings in the spirit of Fathers’ Day. He stated that more or less we are the fathers of our great organization. We are obligated to look after the William Penn Fraternal Association as a father looks after a family. He hoped we would exercise good fatherly judgement, kind words and good deeds for the benefit of our Association. President Charles stated the Agenda had been prepared for this meeting plus any matter which may come before the Board. National President Charles reported the death of former Director Joseph Kormondy. He expressed thanks to those Directors, Officers and Members who attended the funeral and paid their final tribute to this true Fraternalist who did so much to help build our Association. He also reported on the death of the following: Stephen Dudrik, husband of Gizella Dudrik, nee Stefurovsky, Home Office employee; Mrs. Paul Balogh, mother of Agency Manager, Andrew R. Balogh; Mr. James Such of Beckley, West Virginia, former Branch President Lt. Chester A. Molley Ann of Morristown and grandfather Michael Molley of Brooklyn, N. Y. Mr. John Molley for many years was manager of Branch 310, Lynch, Ky. Our sympathies are extended to the Molley’s upon their great loss. and Illustrious Member and Convention Delegate; Grandson of our National Secretary, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stelkovics, young Douglas Dean Eitel; Peter Borsay, son of Rev. Dr. and Mrs. László Borsay, who lost his life in Vietnam in the service of his country; P.F.C. Francis S. Kovács, Br. 76, Philadelphia, who died in action in Vietnam; Honorable Alvin Bentley, former Congressman from Michigan; Julius Wank, former Branch President, Br. 275, Milwaukee, Wis.; Lt. Chester A. Molley, U.S.M.C. who died in Vietnam in the service of his country. The National Officers and Board of Directors stood for a moment of silent prayer in memory of all of its deceased brothers and sisters. On a happier vein, National President Charles extended congratulations to Dr. Samuel Gomory, Medical Director, who was honored by the Allegheny County Medical Society for his fifty years of service as a practicing physician. Dr. Gomory has been Medical Director of the William Penn Fraternal Association for the past forty-three years. He extended congratulations to Director Frank Bero who was honored at a Testimonial sponsored by the Greater Bridgeport Board of Realtors. Director Bero is Chairman of the Connecticut Real Estate Commission. June being the traditional month of graduations, several children of the Official Family members have graduated and congratulations are extended to them: Richard Somogyi, Patricia Radvany, Darlene Danko, Michael Hegedűs, Gregory Lang, Patricia Lang. Congratulations were extended to the following newly-weds: Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Lang. Gregory is the son of Director and Mrs. Stephen Lang; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Reeder. Mrs. Reeder (Lisa) is the daughter of Director and Mrs. Stephen Ivancso. He congratulated Vice President Julius Lenart for the successful campaign in winning the nomination for Councilman for the City of McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He was also honored as Man of the Year by the McKeesport Hungarian Social Club. President Charles thanked the National Officers, Board of Directors and members who attended the National Bowling Tournament held in New York City. The Board members and National Officers pledged allegiance to the Flag. Director Rev. Andrew Jacobs offered the invocation. 2. Board Chairman, John P. Balia, officially calls the meeting to order.
