Representation from our fellow branches has been great — South Bend, Indiana is coming into Youngstown or should we say invading us with full force. Detroit along with the “Ferret” has some ideas of going home loaded — with prize money, that is. The Knapp brothers has our bowling chairman writing Knapp so often he goes to sleep writing Knapp—Knapp-Nap-Nap. Springdale — Columbus — Cleveland — N. Y. — Philadelphia and many more cities are well represented. New Jersey coming by the bus-loaded with people— loaded—oops! I can’t get that word out the right way—too many long hours of work—which in the end will be well worth it. It will be great seeing our old friends plus the many new ones. We’ve had word of some “scouting” from other cities coming in to check over the alleys and the word has it that they were very impressed with the lanes and the atmo­sphere. You see we have “spies” also, Lou. We are positive that all will enjoy their stay in Youngstown. Mary and Mike Tomcsak 98 Bethlehem, Pa. Branch 98, Bethlehem, Penna, will celebrate its 60th year of organization at a picnic to be held on Sunday, June 30th, 1968 at Westport Grove just off Route 191 on Black River Road in Wydnor, Pa. All nearby Branches are invited to attend this affair. If you have difficulty in locating the picnic grounds, please call the Branch Secretary at 868-0130 or the Bethlehem District Office 868-4102. The affair will be a typical Hungarian festival, with the kitchen under the direction of our Ladies Auxiliary. They will feature home made sausage, töltött káposzta, rétes, torta, etc. The music will be furnished by John Toth and his famous Hungarian Orchestra. The picnic will commence at 3:00 P.M. and conclude at 9:00 P.M. Donations are $2.00 for the men and $1.50 for the women. Children are admitted free. Tickets can be secured from our District Office or any of the Branch Officers. It is our intent and endeavor to make this affair a memorable one for Branch 98. Inadvertently it was re­ported that she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Domokos, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. JOSEPH DOMOKOS, Jr. Az Ellenőrző Bizottság jelentése A William Penn Fraternális Egyesület megválasztott Országos Ellenőrző Bizott­sága 1968. március 25-én, hétfőn össze­jött a Pittsburgh, Pa.-ban, 429 Forbes Avenue alatt levő Központi Hivatalban, hogy megkezdjék az Egyesület könyve­lésének és elszámolásainak ellenőrzését. A Bizottság megjelent tagjai a követ­kezők: Kohut C. Vilmos elnök, Veszpré­mi P. János titkár, Kereszti László, Kertész Albert, Emri Zoltán és Mrs. Helen Nemeth. Az ellenőrzést az 1967. julius 1-től 1967. december 1-ig terjedő hathónapos időszakra vonatkozólag végezték. A je­len ellenőrzési jelentés ezennel igazolja az évi pénzügyi jelentés és csatolt mel­lékletei, az értékpapír-állomány, a bevé­teli és kiadási tételek és az azokat igazoló pénztári mellékletek helyességét. Alaposan átvizsgáltuk az összes bevé­teli tételeket: a havidij-befizetéseket, osztalékokat, értékpapír-kamatokat, köl­csönöket és vegyes bevételeket. A bankok (Mellon Bank és Western Pennsylvania Bank) betéti kimutatásait összehasonlí­tottuk a könyveléssel és azokat egybe­hangzónak találtuk. Huzamosabb időt szenteltünk a kiadá­sok átvizsgálásának, az általános kiadá­sok, haláleseti segélykiutalások, betegse­gélyek, fizetések, jutalékok, osztalékok, befektetések, hirdetések, a hivatalos lap költsége, nagygyülési kiadások, kerületi irodák és vegyes kiadások tételeinek. Az ellenőrzési időszak alatt kiutalt minden csekket nyomon követtünk és elszámol­tunk.
