Mr. Gilbert Groevenor, Editor National Geographic Society 17th & M Street*, N.W. . Washington D.C. 20036 Dear Mr. Grosvenor, Herewith I am returning the National Geographic Picture Atlas of Our World, vhlch I received on Sacurday, the 27 of October. I am most unhappy to have to return it, because the book's illustrations are beautiful. However, I would not want to teach my grandson on the basis of your researchers» work. Their information about ay native land is misleading. It gives the impression as if Hungary were an uncivilized country. Do you think that any Hungarian could agree that the "csíkos" and Gypsies are ehe highlights of Hungary's more than thousand-year-old western world civilization and culture? According to the book's information on Hungary ...."Gypsy violinists once led the country's armies into battle." I am very eager to know the authentic source of this Information and would greatly appreciate if you would provide it. Thank you in advance for your obliging cooperation. 1 copy nailed to: Mr. Ross S. Bennett, editor National Geographic Society 17th & M Streets, N.W.
