Engr. : Experiences gained in Finland (For the Hungarian text see pp. 353) A small fraction is only presented here of the wealth of experience gained in connection with water management by the author during a four-months stay in Finland including visits to different research institutions. In Part I information received in some offices of the Finnish National Board of Waters, in Part 2 that at the Finnish Pulp and Paper Research Institute, while in Part 3 the general impressions gained at the pollution control laboratory of Helsinki City are described. The organization of individual agencies and research institutions, the activities there are presented in a form permitting useful conclusions to be arrived at under domestic conditions. In Table I the organizational scheme of the Finnish National Board of Waters is reproduced.
