Verfasser führt anhand einiger für geometrische Grundformen durchgeführten Berechnungen vor, wie die Wirkung der Profilform das Ergebnis der Berechnung des Querschnitts als einheitliches Profil abändert. Deshalb verursacht die Annahme eines ungeteilten Profils bei Berechnung der Spiegelgestaltung nicht vernachlässigbare Fehler. Das ist auf die Ungewissheit der angewandten Geschwindigkeitsformel zurückzuleiten. Deshalb ist es bei hydraulischen Berechnungen zu untersuchen, in welchem Mass das ungeteilte Profil die Genauigkeit des Ergebnisses beeinfljisst. VIII. НОВЫЕ КНИГИ 1. Роберт издал гидрогеологический атлас Венгрии, в котором на картах с масштабом 1 : 1 000 000 и 1 : 200 000 изобр; жаются и в приложенной к атласу книге описиваются пространственное расположение водоносных слоев Венгрии по геологическим возрастам, далее условия напора и течения артезианских вод, температура добываемой воды, отдельные гидрогеологические области, химический состав глубинных вод, удельный расход слоев, возможности добычи термальных вод, места нахождения минеральных и лечебных вод. Издание содержит 73 карт, приложенная книга 655 листов и 19 рисунков^ BOOK REVIEW 1. Ilydrogeological Atlas of Hungary. Reviewed by M. Erdélyi, (For the Hungarian text see pp ....) Under the editing as well as with the work of Dr. R. Schmidt E. the Hungarian Institute for Geology published the hydrogeological atlas of Hungary. The work in question illustrates and also describes in the text book pertaining to the atlas, the former on maps drawn to scale 1 : 1 000 000 and 1 : 200 000, the spatial location of Hungary's water bearing layers according to geological eras, pressure and flow conditions of artesian water, the temperature of the explorable water, the hydrogeological regions, the chemical composition of juvenile water, the specific yield of the strata, the possibility of thermal water exploration and the places of occurrence of mineral and medicinal waters.
