támaszkodó vasbeton tartály hengeres tégla-vasbeton falakon nyugszik. Ahol a torony téglafalát vakolatlanul hagyták, jól láthatóak a törzset gyűrűszerűén tagoló vasbeton koszorúk is. A víztartály feneke 20 m magasságban van és 229 cm-es szintig volt tölthető. A kör alaprajzú sátortető számára a tervek palafedést írtak elő. Az újszentmargitai tornyot 1953 decemberében adták át, és jelenleg is ellátja technológiai vízzel a szarvasmarhatelepet: automatikus vezérlés mellett mélyfúrású kútból származó ivóvizet szolgáltat. Palota- bozsokon egy német magánszemély lakótoronnyá építette át az egykori víztornyot, míg Herceghalmon évtizedek óta nem üzemel víztoronyként, viszont nemrégiben nyilvános internetpontot alakítottak ki benne.
