VARGA, A.: New locality dates of Ablepharus kitaibelii fitzingeri MERTENS from Hungary Author records 7 new locality dates of Ablepharus kitaibelii fitzingeri MERTENS from the eastern parts o" the Mountain Cserhát as well as from the western ones of the Mountain Mátra. From the zoogeographical point of view these locality dates seem to be very singnificant. Up to now in the Northern Central Mountains of Hungary Ablepharus have been collected only in some localities of the Mountain Bükk and in those from the neighbourhood of Vác, Gödöllő and Isaszeg. The new locality dates see at the map. THE LOCALITIES AND THEIR SHORT CHARACTERIZATION Mountain Mátra 1. Tar: Farkaslyuk-tető. Sunny slope with andesit rocks at the skirts of a forest. - 2. Tar: Kő-erdő-tető S. As above. Mountain Cserhát 3. Tepke E: Above Harangoskut (height above sea level (300 m), grassy southeastward hillside with some andesit rocks. Ablepharus seen for many years only on the same rock. - 4. Tepke E.: Above Harangoskut (height 350 m). Grassy, rocky wide fissure facing southeast. - 5. Mátraszőllős: Kis Függőkő.
