Topál, Gy.: The subfossil Bats of the Vass Imre-Cave 109-120. o.

Myotla daubentonl KÜHL Right maxilla fragment with M 2 - M^. A single exemplar in the entire material. Barbastella barbastellus SCHREBER Skull 1 ex. Mandible: right 1 ex. ; ascendant branch of left mandible 1 ex. Humerus: right 1 ex. Radius: right 1 ex. The remains have probably belonged to a single specimen. Condylobasal length of skull: 12,8 MM, length of C - M^ 4,7 mm, length of C - M3 4,95 mm, length of humerus 25,3 mm, length of radius 37,5 mm. This bat is one of the most cold-resistant species in the Carpathian Basin. Flecotus aurltus LINN EUS Rostrum 1 ex.. Humerus: left proximal portion 1 ex., distal portion 1 ex. Radius: right 1 ex.; left 2 ex. ,proximal portion 1 ex., distal portion 2 ex. Right cochlea 1 ex. Some less characteristical fragments. Accordingly, there are the remains of at least 4 specimens in the material. Length of C - M 3 5,3 mm, length of M 1 - V? 3,2 mm, width of rostrum as measured at outer margin of M^ 6,0 mm, length of radius 37,0 - 38,7 M « 37,9 mm. It is evident from these measurement data that we have here the red long-eared bat, rather rare in Hungary today, but which occurs in nearly all glacial and postglacial sites. Summary By the state of conservation, color, lack of the ironoxide dendrites characteristical of fossil bones, as well as
