EVERYBODY WELCOME! The bowling alleys at the Ver­hovay hall will be ready fór the 1952-53 season. If you want to bowl, please contact Mr. Nick Yuhas, man­­tiger of the home, and he will place you on a team, if possibly. The Sports Club held their sec­ond speck fry. Frank Oravis, Chair­man of the Entertainment Commit­tees, reports that the affair went iiptcp. But the owner of the farm, Ernie Renn, hinted that the Sports Club should seek another spot. So now the Entertainment Committee is scouting around. Branch 366 had a grand crowd at its annual moonlight picnic July 26th. Plenty of moon, pleasant weather — great combination. Bert Lucsik, and his charming and affectionate wife Margaret, visited his brother Frank in Detroit, Mich­igan during their vacation. J Cal Karnya celebrated his birth­day Monday, July 29th. Again he was twenty-one? Former Terry Moses, now Mrs. Kovács, gave birth to twins. Con­gratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Kovács. Mr. Steve Nyers of South Bend, Indiana was a visitor to Cleveland some time ago. Dr. Andrew Kovács, Vicei-Presicj'nt and Dirt/itor, was escorting the guests around town. Joseph Papp, a good worker of Branch 14, passed away July 3rd. Our condolence to his family. May he rest in peace! Joseph Nagy’s mother-in-law died. Our condolence to him and to his wife Irene. May she rest in peace! We were shocked to hear of the death of Mrs. John Prots, formerly Gizella Merk. She was originally a inember of Branch 366, subsequently transferred to Branch 361. We re­member her as a fine upstanding Jady, a girl with a generous smile and with a good word for everyone. We extend our condolences to her husband and family. May she rest in peace! Mrs. Mary Bodnar is taking her bonding team up to the Business & Tradesmen Club this season. Oscar Federau is now ß night engraver. Frank Rakoczy’s daughter Rose Marie was married August 9th to Anthony Szabó. The reception was hejld at the Verhovay hall. Joseph, Koncler was elected, vice­­president of the St. John’s Sports Club. Congrats, Joe. The Öreg Amerikás picnic was at­tended by approximately 5,000 peo­ple. Mr. Kalman Kolozsvary, Verho­vay director, gave a stirring address in Hungarian. Before I close.
