THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE VERHOVAY FRATERNAL INSURANCE ASSN. announce with profound sorrow the death of LOUIS SZABÓ, ACKNOWLEDGED MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION, for many years the faithful Manager of Branch No. 8, at Johnstown, Pa., on December 26, 1951. The Board of Directors, paying final tribute to the memory of our Acknowledged Fellow Member, convey on behalf of the membership of the Verhovay Fraternal Insurance Association their deepest sympathy to the bereaved family. OMAHA BRANCH MANAGER ' EXTOLLS VERHOVAY In a letter sent several weeks ago fto the Home Office, Gaspar Kuti, Manager of Branch 278, Omaha, Nebraska, expresses in words of burning enthusiasm his deep satisfaction for the war clause rider! which the Board of Directors decreed at their March, 1952 meeting. He honors the charitable spirit (and aggressive determination of the Board of Directors and the National Officers in this and other matters. He notes with further satisfaction that the war clause rider, which now pays full benefits instead of only monthly dues refunds to the beneficiaries of Verhovay’s war dead, gives not only financial succor but the spiritual comforts that follow as well. It is^true that Verhovay was one of the first societies to add this extra solace for the benefit of the widows, parents, or other beneficiaries of war casualties. Mr. Kuti ends his message by making a plea to those Hungarians' who are not members to join the: ranks of the Verhovay membership, where every effort is always made to make our insurance the best in force.
