A motion was made by Miss Emma E. Phillips and was •econded by Stephen Szabó that the delegates go on record •uggesting the election of Junior Officers in the following Depart­ments: Supreme Secretary's De­partment, Supreme Treasurer's Department, and the Supreme Auditor’s Department. These Junior Officers would alleviate the burden of the heads of these departments and take full charge of these departments should a long-termed illness prevent any of the heads of these depart­ments from attending to their duties. It was further recom­mended that these Junior Officers be members of the , younger generation. This motion was unanimously adopted by the delegates. A motion was made by Andrew Fay Fisher and was seconded by Joseph Gyuran that the. Board of Directors appoint or elect a capable individual to supervise the promotion of social activities and sport activities to promote fraternalism. This individual would work from the Home Office in cooperation With the District Organizers and the officers of all the Branches. Such promotions of social and sport activities would interest more and more young Americans in membership within our Organization. The following motion, dealing with the Junior Order, was made by Mrs. John Fulop and was seconded by Julius Kovach that our Association should issue a Hew kind of certificate by which the payee who is the beneficiary, Upon the death of the payor, the certificate would be paid. up. The payor would be required to take a medical examination at the time of the issuance of the certificate. Election of Delegates to toe Convention, The following candidates were nominated: John Sabo, Andrew Fay Fisher, Emma E. Phillips, Stephen Szabó, Louis Kiss, Julius Kovach. Those elected were: John Sabo, 12 votes. Andrew Fay Fisher, 12 votes. Emma E. Phillips, 9 votes. The alternate delegates are: Stephen Szabó, 7 votes. Julius Kovach, 5 votes. Louis Kiss, 3 votes. A motion was made and seconded by Miss Emma E. Phillips and Mrs. John Fulop, respectively, to pay Secretary Stephen Szabó $5.00 for his secretarial duties. The motion was passed unanimously. The delegates expressed their thanks to the, officers of the Hungarian Verhovay Home for the permission to use the Home for the meeting. Speeches were made by the elected delegates in which they promised to do all in their power lo achieve the best for the Ver­hovay Fraternal Insurance As­sociation. With this done, the meeting was adjourned by Chairman John Sabo. Her deal resulted from a Cesarian opert tion which was performed c June 30, .and which, howeve did not succeed in saving he life. Her infant son, who we taken from her, was laid to re: in the Mount Calvary Cemeter; while the remains of the mothe were returned to the Watso Funeral Home in Maynard, C on July the 5th. She received her educa­tion at the St. Stanislaus Schoo and her spiritual guidance ir the same church. She enterec into holy matrimony on August 30, 1941 with Carl Chini ol Bannock, O. On that day the church was overcrowded with well wishing friends who little knew that her earthly hap­­pinesss was destined to become such a short one. At the day of the Holy Mass the church again was filled to overflowing by all of her friends. She needed or needs no eulogy, her many friends gave a testimony of that fact. Her courage, her character and her loveliness at­­ti acted everyone and by her sudden death many were de­prived of the best and truest friend they ever had.
