I The Class “H J” certificate, called the JUVENILE ENDOWMENT AT AGE 18 CERTIFICATE, is really an endowment at age 18, and members of this class shall pay their dues until they reach the age 18 years, after tvhich time, the benefit will be payable in cash to the member. If death occurs prior to age 18, the benefit will be paid to the beneficiary according to the table. Bear in mind that the age of children taken up in this kind of insurance is ALWAYS based on the next birthday, which is the basis of the insurance rate, and therefore if a child is four years and one day old; he is five years old according to the insuring table. In glancing over the notes of our entire journey, none seemed to bring such thril­ling memories as did those of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jackson Hole is compara­tively a new monument to the American sense of fair play and raw courage. It was at this spot that one “bad man” withstood the as­sault of the armed forces of the law, in one of the most desperate, bloody and long drawn battles that features Western history. The geo­graphy of the land is such that this feat is not so dif­ficult as might be imagined, but the sheer courage and gameness of “Jackson” is to be admired. Whether the land itself was the inspiration for Jack­son’s courage or whether the indominatable spirit of Jack­­son is mirrored in the land is a debatable question, for one can easily feel the grand­ness this locality inspires. Lofty mountain peaks of the Teton Range, the penetrat­ing blueness of the sky and the fierce shyness of the wild game is a setting sufficient to kindle the flame of man­hood in any heart. In near-by Roaring Cany­on, the fantastic erosion and sound effects are flat, mean­ingless lines on a photo­graph, but the memory of man is ever able to relive the scenes that are burned into his brain, as are the scenes of the Teton Moun­tains burned into our brain. Almost a bit of magic is the unveiling of the Grand Teton Peak. Having been shrouded in the misty clouds that hide the Peak, the sud­den dissipation of the clouds and the sight of that sky­piercing point is enough to cause you to rub your eyes in disbelief. The highest road in The United States is the highway running from Driggs, Idaho, into Yellow­stone National Park. The elevation is oyer 7,500 above sea level. Motorists find it rather difficult to make the climb without stopping for cold water for their cars. The high altitude produces a buzzing in the ears and sometimes nosebleed.
