It surely was! Now you’re not in the dark, are you? Yes? Well, shame on you! You should have been there. We all had a grand time. The three valuable door prizes were won by Mrs. Ethel Seres, Dr. Andrew Kovács (boy! the doc sure fell for his) and Margaret Kish. We intend to have many more affairs that will long be remembered for their re'rnarkable success, as this one was. We are happy to inform you that one of our members, Ben Stidham, has comPage 9 pletely yrecovered from his injury. Our new president, Joseph Serfozo, has been taking a keen interest in travel lately. St. Petersburg, one of the most important centers in Florida, held a magnetic attraction for Joe. Ernest Harsany has gone into the fruit business. He certainly is a swell member, so let’s patronize him. Frank Traiber has been basking- in the warm sun down South. Be sure to tell us about Mexico City the next time you come around, Frank. We are expecting a record attendance at our next meeting, when we are going to plan for a dance to be held after Easter. By the way, meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month, at the secretary’s home. So, if you crave publicity, be sure to come. We give you our word you’ll get it. Fraternally, The Funmakers of Branch 367.------------------O-----------------BRANCH 364 Youngstown, Ohio Our regular monthly meeting will be held Tuesday, April 8, 1941, 8:00 p. m., at St. Stephen’s Home. Wilson Avenue. In the name of Branch 364, I thank the members and committee who helped make our Annual Card Party a success. Our president, Frank Brogley, donated $3.00, and Miss Anna Szalay donated two lovely gifts The committee in charge of this party were: Mrs. Mary Miglets, Mrs. Mary Peters, Isabelle Timar, Margaret Doka and Ethel Orosz. Cakes and cookies were donated by the committee and also by Mrs. Frank Brogley. Margaret Szalay, Margaret Doka and Isabelle Timar donated tea, lemons and sugar. Thanks again, girls, for your' kind contributions to make this party so successful. Honorable mentions to Margaret Szalay for selling the most tickets to the party; also to Philip Houser, Joe Nagy, Mrs. Mary Peters and Frank Brogley. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Lautner on the birth of their baby boy. We wish all Verhovay members a joyful Easter! Fraternally, Mrs. JOHN BARKÓ, Secretary.------------------O-----------------Fur farmers in New Brunswick produced about 30,000 fox pelts last year and 20,000 mink pelts.
