Pongrácz Erzsébet: The Cinemas of Budapest - Our Budapest (Budapest, 1998)
Graffiti (1910s) 63 József körút, district Vili “The Bodográf” was widely known. A prospering little café was run here in the 1910s by one Adolf Bodó who, wishing to keep abreast with the times, opened a cinema, which he then named Bodográf after himself. Everybody knew the Bodográf in Pest, and it was in vain to try and rebaptise it as Baross Movie in the forties - people simply refused to call it by any other name. After being nationalised, another new name Bányász (Miner) reflected the spirit of the age. During renovations in 1969-71, the auditorium was enlarged to a capacity of 224 and a cloakroom, a buffet and an office were added to this small, street-corner cinema. Today it operates under the name Graffiti. 32
