the occasional visitor is compensated by the details of the facade with its distinctive articulation, the cool ele­gance of the entrance hall, and the beautiful patterns of its floor covering. Vidor counterbalanced narrowness of the facade with a varied articulation of the surface. The completely asymmetric vertical division is accentuated. Our first impressions are determined by the peculiar shapes of the window apertures. In the middle section there is a unit of oriel windows connecting three floors, which is topped by an open balcony bracketed by two majolica pillars with Assyrian heads. We cannot find two identical architectural features. The most unique design is the semi-circular balcony in the section above the entrance.
