I Csősztorony Field Guard’s Look-Out X. Harmat utca 3 / Between the Zöld Ász Restaurant (Harmat Szálló) and the weed-infested fields in which the ventilating shafts of various subterranean caverns and hollows sprout, this white turreted building with the small bastion can be seen from a distance. This is the Field Guard’s Look-out. It is a historic building. The ground floor and the vine arbour functions as a wine-bar. The lands around these parts belonged to the church and field guards were posted to watch over the vines from the tower. The character of the area then changed; during the Second World War, German Messerschmitt planes were assembled here in an underground factory, and the weed-infested fields have not yet been able to dispel the feeling this left behind. Only the name-Kőbányai-hegy (Old Hill of Kőbánya)-retains the memory of the viticulture that once flourished here. From certain angles the landscape could be a location for a film version of an Edgar Wallace horror story; from others it looks like a concentration camp. Rom Club Wreck Club X. Kápolna tér 2 Deep within the Kőbánya district, an inscription on a graffiti-covered wall enclosing a garden reads ROM CLUB!!!! This pub (which provides live music in the evenings) took its name from a car-breakdown service. Their receipt-slips are headed with the service’s name. The dog is called Morzsa. Live music is from five to ten. Schäffer József Borozója József Schäffer's Wine-Tavern X. Szentimrei út 8 This lies hidden in the garden city. The huge courtyard is dotted with a surprisingly small number of tables, 48
