However it seems that its land, which adjoins the inner city is much more valuable for them than the mill building itself, although the latter is an outstanding monument of Hungarian industrial architecture, and a unique witness to the skills of carpentry and millwright’s work.

Conservation and development of buildings-in contrast to popular belief-need not be opposing but can be complementary activities. With a sound economic cooperation of the participants, patience and a bit of luck the buildings to be conserved and those to be developed can advantageously serve each other.
