The memorial pl^qcie im honour of every deceased Hungarian Olympic Champion also where Kamill Feleki, actor and singer popular in ope­rettas, and two intellectual giants László Németh, writer, physician, teacher and thinker, and Sándor Weöres, poet, are buried. Continuing this walk along the main road, you see Section 10 on the right and Section 11 behind it. The tomb of scientist and arts patron Andor Semsey is right at the corner. The stone cross erected in memory of István Fekete, author of numerous popular novels, stands further inwards, with its back to the main road. From among the celebrities buried in Section 11, mention must be made of József Zakariás, member of Hungary’s “the golden ele­ven” football team, and József Szendrő, actor and direc­tor. You can enter Section 12, the site of an extensive pan­theon of the labour movement, before reaching the north­western corner of the lower part of the cemetery. The urn cubicles marked E and EE behind this section hold the ashes of some famous people. Sections 13 and 14 are in the corner, with the grave of actress Margit Lánczy in the latter. Arriving at the passage-way, those interested in the Hóvirág utca part of the cemetery can choose it as the starting point for the shortest detour. Immediately to the right of the entrance is an interesting group of monu­ments: the vaults transferred here in 1963 from the former Németvölgyi Cemetery, whose elimination was already in progress at the time, evoke the style characteristic of ce­meteries a hundred years ago.
