■ External view oh the church The external coating of the neo-Romanesque building, which is embellished with Hungarian motifs, is made up of rustically carved quarry stone from Pilis­szántó. No bell has as yet been placed in the 32-metre tall, slim, quadrangular, battlemented tower. The windows, which terminate in semicircular vaults, are larger on the head wall, while they are arranged in pairs and are smaller on the bearing walls. There is a steep rise in the plain of the roofs. The main front bears the inscription A mighty fortress is our God. Passing the portal, which is accentuated by a projection supported by two columns and is accessible by way of a few stairs, the visitor enters the porch 28
