Entitled Peace and Friend&hip Memorial, a twin monument was erected in the Peoples' Friendship Park of Moscow in 1976. The piece has a 'half-sister' in Budapest, too. A single-figure version was installed as the liberation monument of Pestlőrinc, a piece that owes its undisturbed survival in its original location to the fact that after the change of political system it could easily be converted into a war memorial with the addition of a date.
