In accordance with the work to be done in it, its four lowest storeys contain offices arranged along a central hallway, while from floor four to eight there are large draughtsmen's studios. On floor ten is a restaurant with its own kitchen, while the eleventh contains the archives, a copy room, and the engine room. The facade is covered with dark clinkers, and light-protection is provided by a special system of projecting shading grills. The north front has recently been turned into a hoard­ing space. The Headquarters of the Budapest Waterworks Nos. 23—27 Váci út, District XIII Construction of the Headquarters of the Budapest Waterworks and its workers' hostel was started in August of 1975 at the corner of Váci út and Dózsa György út.
