Rossz állapotú házak, az Iparudvar és az egykori tűzoltólaktanya területén alakították ki 1949-1950-ben a népfürdőt, majd építettek hozzá 1984-ben fedett uszodát. A belvárosban, történelmi környezetben működő' Váci Strandfürdő és Uszoda ma négy medencével - fedett uszoda, időszakosan fedett uszoda, strandmedence és pancsoló - és két szaunával várja a vendégeket. A medencéket forráskútból származó, kálcium-magnéziumhidrogén-karbonátot tartalmazó vízzel látják el.

The public pool system was constructed in 1949-1950, replacing old residential, commercial and fire department buildings, and was added a swimming hall in 1984. Accommodations of the Vác Public Pool System placed in historic downtown include four pools - indoor swimming pool, seasonally covered pool, an outdoor and a paddling-pool, and additionally, offers two saunas for visitors. The pools are supplied with well water containing calcium-magnesium-hydrogen-carbonate minerals.
