Váci Krónika (Vác, 2009)

Előszó ezredfordulót városunk is méltó módon és számtalan formában ünnepelte meg. A Szent Istváni-alapítású egyházmegyék - köztük a váci - közös emlékülést tartottak a Parlamentben. Ismét a városba érkezett a Szent Jobb, és számtalan koncertet, kiállítást szerveztek a városi intézmények. Új köztéri szobrok születtek: Blaskó János I. Géza király szobra és a Millenniumi emlékkút. Váci Téka címmel kiadványsorozatot indított a városi könyvtár, történeti konferenciát rendezett a levéltár. Szálai Katalin modern kori kódexíró Vác város tíz évszázados történetét tíz lapon örökítette meg, melyek ma a polgármesteri hivatal folyosóján láthatók. The diocese founded by St Stephen, including Vác held a commemorative meeting in the Parliament. The Holy Right Hand of St Stephen was taken to town and great many concerts and exhibitions were organised by the institutions in Vác. New statues were erected in public squares: Geza I by Blaskó János and the Milennial Memorial Fountain. The Archives organised historical conferences, and the City Library launched a series of publications entitled Váci Téka (Historical Collections of Vác). A copyist of modern age codexes, Szálai Katalin recorded the town's ten-century history on ten pages, which are now exhibited in the corridors of the Mayor's Office. ^ac, 2009, in the month of Christmas ie Jahrtausendwende wurde auch in unserer Stadt ehrenvoll und in zahlreicher Form gefeiert. Die vom Heiligen Stephan gegründeten Diözesen - darunter auch die Diözese von Vác - hielten im Parlament eine gemeinsame Erinnerungssitzung. Die Heilige Rechte kam erneut in die Stadt. Zahlreiche Konzerte und Ausstellungen wurden von den städtischen Institutionen organisiert. Neue Statuen wurden auf öffentlichen Plätzen aufgestellt: die Statue über den König Géza I. von János Blaskó sowie der Millenniumsbrunnen. Die Stadtbibliothek startete eine Publikationsreihe mit dem Titel „Váci Téka", das Archiv von Vác organisierte eine Geschichtskonferenz. Katalin Szálai, Kodexschreiberin der Moderne hielt die zehn Jahrhunderte alte Geschichte der Stadt Vác auf zehn Blättern fest, welche heute auf den Fluren des Bürgermeisteramtes zu sehen sind. ^)iese Kodexblätter werden hiermit - nach etwa zehn vergangenen Jahren - mit der Ubersetzung der ungarischen Texte ins Deutsche und ins Englische ergänzt, in die Hand eines breiteren Leserpublikums gegeben. <
