JUMA hat einige Jugendliche gefragt: Wie wollt ihr lieber leben - solo oder mit Partner? Es gibt einfach Dinge, die man(n) mit Jungen besser machen kann. Zum Beispiel Fußball spielen! Martin ist 16 und Single. In seiner Freizeit spielt er oft Fußball. Viele Mädchen, so seine Erfahrungen, haben dafür kein Verständnis. „Wenn mich ein Mädchen von me­inen Freunden wegbringen will, reagiere ich allergisch“, erzählt er. Martin fühlt sich wohl als Single. Auch Elke, 15 Jahre, Sharon, 14 Jahre, und Simon, 16 Jahre, füh­len sich gut allein. Elkes letzte Be­ziehung liegt noch gar nicht so lange zurück. Vor einer Woche hat sie sich von ihrem Freund get­rennt. „Er hat mich einfach nicht so nett behandelt und ständig ver­setzt “, berichtet sie. „Irgendwann ist einfach Schluss.“ Auch ihre Fre­undin Sharon meint, dass man nicht um jeden Preis eine Bezie­hung halten sollte. Ihre letzte en­dete auf einer Klassenfahrt. Das Datum weiß sie noch ganz genau. Die Freundschaft war etwas ganz Besonderes für sie. „Aber ich habe mehr gegeben als bekommen“, erklärt sie den Grund für die Tren­nung. Die anderen Mädchen aus ihrer Clique haben alle einen Fre­und. Doch das stört Elke und Sha­ron nicht. Sie fühlen sich nicht un­ter Druck gesetzt. Auch wenn Bezi­ehung ein wichtiges Gesprächst­hema ist. Es kann auch Vorteile ha­ben ein Single zu sein. „Wenn ich auf eine Party gehe, kann ich mich mit vielen Leuten unterhalten. Ich flirte auch mal gern. Meine Freun­dinnen sitzen immer bei ihren Fre­unden und können das nicht“, me­int Elke. Natürlich kennt sie auch die Vorteile einer Beziehung: „Man hat jemanden, zu dem man gehen kann, wenn man Probleme hat. Und der das Gleiche für mich empfindet wie ich für ihn.“ Doch auf der Suche nach einem neuen Partner ist sie nicht. Darin ist sie sich mit den anderen einig. Egal, wie lange ihre letzte Beziehung zurückliegt. Elke, Sharon, und Martin lassen sich Zeit mit der Lie­be. Und Simon? „Es klappt am bes­ten, wenn man es einfach auf sich zukommen lässt“, weiß er. Simon war ein Jahr mit einem Mädchen zusammen. Dann trennte er sich von ihr. Der Grund war ihre Untre­ue. Wenn jetzt die „Richtige“ kommt, würde er seine Freiheit gegen eine Partnerschaft taus­chen. An­dererseits ist ihm wichtig, auch Ze­it für sich selbst zu haben. „Manchmal wünscht man sich ei­ne feste Partnerin“, gibt Martin zu. „Dann hat man immer jemanden, mit dem man etwas unternehmen kann.“ Trotzdem findet er, dass Freunde und die Familie wichtiger sind. Simon, Sharon und Elke stimmen ihm zu. „Wenn eine Part­nerschaft auseinander geht, ist Schluss. Die meisten kennen einen danach nicht mehr. Freunde aber sind immer für einen da“, sagt Si­mon. Später, da kann dann eine richtige Beziehung und eine Fami­lie kommen. Das heißt für ihn ir­gendwann ab 30. Bis dahin wollen alle erst einmal Erfahrungen sam­meln.
