92 lished; and that a high school for girls, and some mission stations should be founded. More over a most important decision was carried, that an International Conference be held with the cooperation of the English and American Unitarians. The first step to be made was to procure the assistance of the Rev. Copeland Bowie, secretary of the British and Foreign Unitarian Association. Mr. Bowie accepted the charge with great pleasure and gave all the needfull assistance In order to make the arrengements, a committee was delegated, president being Bishop Ferenc, members Revs.G Boros, Dr. Kol. Gál, Lőrincz Gálfi, John Kovács and Denis Péteríi. At the same time the Budapest Congregation was invited to cooperate, where upon the same also chose its committee viz. Mr. Ferencz Székely (president) Revs Charles Derzsi, Nicholas Gál, Mr. L. Máray and Paul Sebes. It is the aim of this Report to give some account of the proceedings of the Conference. The addresses, papers and speeches will give some idea of that high spirit which pervaded the meetings from beginning to end. The real success of this gathering was accomplished in that exceptionally enthusiastic brotherly feeling which, not only inspired each adherent of the Conference, but also united all those who were present from Hungary, England and America, abont 500 in number. The speeches held out of the meetings, at the dinners and elswhere, are omitted from this Report, as well as all the communications which were published in the newspapers, but we hope that even in its present form it may be a constant and pleasant record of that brotherly convention, the repetition of which is heartily desired by those who enjoyed it, as well as those who were kept away from it.
