A short report of the greetings and letters adressed to the International Unitarian Conference, Budapest, by George Boros, secretary. The grand millenial year of the Hungarian nation was a time of joy for the Unitarian Church. Everihody, old and young, did his best as a citizen to raise a memorial to the glory of the past and to put up a signal before the duty of the future. But together with the patriotic feelings, the religious motives also gained a due expression. In our churches and schools we raised our thanksgiving prayers and our humble petitions to the Lord of Heavens to the God of the Magyars, and all these yet did not suffice the patriotic and religious desires of our souls. We felt that our festivities shall be complete only if there will participate in them also those, who though stand by the altars of other lands, yet offer to the same God with the same thoughts. With the words of love and trust we had invited you, our friends from England and America, to these our festivals and we are happy to say that the number (14) of the deputies is larger than that of the first Apostles was. Besides, a large number of those who could not come from the above named two countries, as well as from France and Switzerland have sent their greetings and expressed thir simpathy.
