20 The Hungarian Student Plan for Hungarian Student Home in Paris RESOLUTION 11: HUNGARIAN STUDENTS’ HOME IN PARIS RESOLUTION 12: STUDENT INFORMATION SERVICE RESOLUTION 13: TO INTRODUCE THE EXPOSITION OF THE CONGRESS Exposition materials collected to inform the public about life in Hungary and the events of the Revolution shall be safely kept and shown at every proper place and occasion. Copies of the movies on the Revolution should be shown to the American public through our local organizations. We are in accord with and will assist the plan of the Hungarian College Student Association in France to build a Hungarian Student Home on an area donated for international student homes. A befitting memorial for posterity can thus he constructed, and the wish of our youth for contact with the youth of the free world can thus be expressed. In this fashion we can show the youth who came to know this free life that with the help of their friends among foreign nations they can achieve what their enslaved count-y could not offer. We wish to establish this home for the Hungarian University Students in Paris and also for the sons of any nation fighting for freedom. One thousand four hundred Hungarian college students now live in 37 States of the U.S.A., scattered far and wide. To promote communication among these students, the Federation should issue official information bulletins in Hungarian and English. The English section of the bulletin should be increased as the students progress in their assimilation of the language. The bulletin should impart information about the life of Hungarian students in other countries, as well as about the life of students of other nations. These bulletins should be mailed to the members of our own Federation as well as to all U.S. Universities, the associate members of the UFHS, and the COSEC.
