I Our subscription rate, as you know, is $15.00 a year, while membership dues of the Foundation are only $10.00 a year. If you are not yet a subscriber to the magazine or a Foundation member, the cost of both is $25.00 a year. However, if you are already a subscriber to the Eighth Hungarian Tribe magazine, but not a member of the Foundation, you can become a member for only $10.00 more. For a combined subscription to the Eighth Hungarian Tribe magazine and membership in The Hungarian Eighth Tribe Foundation (25.00), or for only a subscription ($15.00), please make your check or money order payable to The Hungarian Eighth Tribe Foundation. Either way, mail your payment to: P.O. Box 2203, Union, New Jersey 07083 . Just like all of the other Hungarian clubs, churches, and organizations participating in our Foundation-sponsored, UNITED HUNGARIAN-AMERICAN COMMITTEE FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE STATUE OF LIBERTY-ELLIS ISLAND, and for which project our magazine is the promotional spearhead, we, too, must make a joint contribution, on behalf of our Foundation and its members, to the Committee's "STATUE OF LIBERTY-ELLIS ISLAND FUND". This fund is administered by a bank as Transfer Agent and, when all of the receipts will be in from all over the country, it will issue one check payable to the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation on behalf of the Hungarian community in America. The name of each individual donor will be permanently registered and housed at Ellis Island and each will receive a special Donor Certificate endorsed by Lee A. Iacocca and Gerald Ford, the former President of the United States. So, please send in your tax-deductible donation to this fund as soon as you can, and be as generous as you can afford to be. Make your check payable to The Hungarian Eighth Tribe Foundation and indicate it for the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Fund. A very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you one and all!
