August, 1983 THE EIGHTH HUNGARIAN TRIBE Page 17 Governor Dick Thornburgh proclaimed the week of July 17-23, 1983 as Captive Nations Week in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at a ceremony in the Governor’s Reception Room. Representing the Hungarian-American community was (standing) Dr. Tibor Bodi, Secretary of the Hungarian Eighth Tribe Foundation and (sitting) his wife, Mrs. Bodi. Seated to the left of Governor Thomburh is Charles Bojanic, Chairman, Governor’s Heritage Affairs Advisory Commission of which Dr. Bodi is a member. Also in attendance were members of those ethnic communities whose native countries are captive.
