Page 8 THE EIGHTH HUNGARIAN TRIBE November, 1982 THOMAS D. KURONYA Is the eighteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gaza C. Kuronya of 1230 Evergreen Road, Morrisville, Pa. A graduate of Pennsbury High School Thomas will attend Drexel University and pursue a career in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. ALAN G. POSTA, JR. Is the seventeen year old son of Dr. and Mrs. Alan G. Posta of 8 Beechtree Lane, Princeton, N. J. A graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High, Alan will attend a university this fall and pursue a Medical career. Erika Kisvarsanyi was born in Rolla, Missouri, her father is a professor at the University of Missouri at Rolla. Her mother is the daughter of Dr. Kálmán Bognár of Sarasota, Florida and one of the contributor editors of this magazine. Erika’s parents were born in Hungary, and wanted her to learn their native language so she could write to her relatives in Hungary and was able to talk to them on their visit to the land of her ancestors. At home the language is Hungarian, at school it is English, German and French. Presently she is enroled at UMR, besides continuing her language studies in German and French, she is also preparing for a degre in phyics.ln addition to being named one of the class’s two salutatorians at the High School commencement, she received a University of Missouri Curators’ Scholarship, first place in German in the UMR Achievement Bowl, the High School English department award for taking most of the language courses available and excelling in them.
