October, 1982 THE EIGHTH HUNGARIAN TRIBE Page 3 THE EDITOR’S CORNER . . . Time to time we receive a letter informing us of passing one of the members of the Eighth Tribe Family. Our sympathy goes out to Mrs. András Tripolszky, nee Dombrády Dóra. on passing of her husband András Tripolszky, who died on September 18, 1982 in Cleveland Ohio. Until retirement he worked for General Motors Corp.’s Allison Army Tank Automotive Plant as engineer. He was a member of many societies, amongs them: the Árpád Akadémia, Szent László Rend, Polish-Hungarian Federation and the Transylvanian World Federation. We would like to call the attention of our readers to the Kováts Album, over 100 pages, describing Col. Michael Kováts de Fabriczy’s life and deeds, also the 200 year observance of his death, as it was commemorated at the City of Charleston, S. C. and many other places. The ‘Foreword’ to the Album is written by General Mark Clark of the U. S. Army. Because there will be a limited copies printed, please reserve yours now. — More information can he found on an other page in this magazine. The end of the year is almost upon us, we ask our readers to pay their obligation for 1982.—Thank you! We appreciate your support. It is that, that keeps this paper alive.
