Vardy, Associate Professor of Humanities at Robert Morris College, and Dr. Steven B. Vardy, Professor of History at Duqnesne University, are continuing to offer a course in Hungarian Language and Culture at the University of Pittsburgh begun in the Fall of 1979. The duration of the course is Feb. 18 - April 8, 1981; every Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. (eight weeks). The text Hungarian Basic Course Units 1-12, published by the Foreign Service Institute will be used. The course will consist primarily of language study, language drills, and improvement of conversational skills. Beginners as well as previous students are welcome. Fee: $40.00. The above course will be followed by a series of lectures, slide presentations, and short films presented in preparation for a study trip to Hungary and Austria. The duration of Introducing Hungary and Austria is March 4 - April 1, 1981; every Wednesday evening from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. (five weeks).
