The Szalajha Valley, one of Hungary’s most beautiful nature reserves, is situated in northern Hungary, on the south-western part of the Bükk mountain, near the town of Eger. The valley can be approached from Szilvásvárad, and because of its extraordinary beautiful landscape it was declared protected in 1955.
