September, 1977 THE EIGHTH TRIBE Page 3 eration’s first obligation is to those who were bom here, to inform them about their Hungarian Heritage. This work was done for many years by the Federation, but lately it was pushed back into a second category. We hope that it will be placed once again on the top of the list and be continued for many years to come. We also hope, that the members of the Federation will support the Eighth Tribe, and will use this magazine to inform the American- Hungarians about their work. * * * We commend the efforts of Mrs. Ann McBride of Chardon, Ohio for recommending this magazine to listeners of her radio program, who otherwise would never hear about the Eighth Tribe. The Geauga County (Ohio) Hungarian Culture Club will hold their Fall Festival Sunday, October 2, at St. Helen’s Church Hall on Rt. 87, Newbury, Ohio. This editor promised Mrs. McBride that he will attend so he will be able to meet all the new readers from that area. Also we urge all our readers from the Cleveland area to attend this Fall Festival. * * # SUBSCRIPTION DRIVE The subscription drive during the next few months will concentrate in the Cleveland and northern Ohio area.
